Code of Ethics for Research

To create academic awareness about responsible conduct of research, project work, assignments, thesis, and dissertation, promotion of academic integrity and prevention of misconduct including plagiarism in academic writing among students, faculty members of academic staff of the institution, the research work of faculty & students in the form of papers / projects must go through the process of plagiarism and has to maintain high academic and production standards. All academic and research work undertaken by the student in the form of assignments, project reports, dissertations should be free from plagiarism. The supervising faculty should check and verify the submitted assignment as free from plagiarism before issuing the certificate to the student. The students and faculty members may use the online plagiarism checking software provided in the library to ensure the authenticity of the projects/theses /dissertations submitted. Students/ faculty members may avail Plagiarism check facility available at Calicut university library.
