A'Tourism Club' has been functioning in the college with the assistance of the Department of Tourism, Govt, of Kerala. The main objectives of the club is to create awareness about the socio-economic relevance of tourism for the development of the state and to create a rational approach towards tourism, environment and nature among the students. Membership in the club is for three years and is limited only to 50 students. Sri. Binuraj C R (Asst. Prof, of Commerce & Business Administration) is the teacher co-ordinator of the club.
The girl students forum, Pearl started functioning from 2004, with the motto of empowering the girl students. Empowering is to equip one with power to face the challenges of life. PEARL thinks the younger generation can take the society to a state where women enjoy greater freedom and equality. All the girl students of this college are the members of this forum. There are class representatives and students coordinator guided by the teacher in charge Smt.V.S.Anita (Associate Professor, Dept.Of English ).
Samskara is a voluntary organization of students who have an aptitude in Art, Literature, Culture and Ecology. It intends to promote their abilities and interest in the related topics. Samskara plans to conduct monthly programs which include classes by eminent persons in the subject concerned, presentation and discussion of creative works of Samskara members, conducting workshops, debates, camps and tour programs. Dr. Mini Abraham (Assistant Professor, Dept.Of Malayalam) is the co-ordinator of Samskara.
In association with the Industries Department, Govt. of Kerala, an Entrepreneurship Development Club (EDC) is functioning in the college. The objective of the club is to change the mind set of students and to develop industrial culture among the student community. The club conducts programmes such as interaction with successful entrepreneurers, visits to industrial units within and outside the state and entrepreneurship development programmes. Now the club has started giving training to selected members in the manufacture of various consumable products. The Club also intends to provide individual development programmes and entrepreneurship development programmes to its members. A total of 40 students from different disciplines are enrolled as members. Dr. C P Sujesh, Asso. Prof., Department of Commerce & Business Administration is the co-ordinator of the club.
We have a music club in our college. The main objective of the club is to discover and develop the musical talents and skills of its members. It organises many programmes related to music. Membership is limited to 50 students. The staffco-ordinator of the club is Dr. C.P. Sujesh (Asso. Prof, of Commerce).
A Science club is functioning in our college. The purpose of the science club is to promote an interest in the sciences, to experience the sciences above and beyond the classroom setting, to provide career information and to enhance the involvement of science students within college. Smt.G.Anitha (Associate Professor, Dept.Of Mathematics) is the coordinator of the science club.
The Department of Environment and Climate change (DoECC) under environment Department was constituted in Dec-2010 under Environment Department and Climate changes related activities in Kerala as per order no. G.O (MS) No.06/2010/Envt. Dated 8-12-2010 Boomithra Sena Club of the colleges working under DoECC. The Club aims to create an awareness on issues impacting the environment upon which we all depend, as well as action we can take to improve and sustain it. The club also promote responsible entrepreneurship among students by promoting the production of organic farming, nursery medicinal plants, rain water harvesting, recharge pits, waste management etc. The club is coordinated by Dr. Deepa K P Associate Professor Dept. of Chemistry.
The Anti Narcotic Club aims at working against the use of alcohol, tobacco and drugs. The club envisages every student of the college to be goal oriented and innovative in protecting oneself and others against drugs and alcohol. The activities of club include sensitization programmes through awareness classes, seminars, campaigns, poster exhibitions etc. against alcoholism and drug abuse among various sections of society, and the youth of today in particular. The club has largely succeeded in bringing the campus community to a proper understanding of the issues involved in the use of alcohol and drugs.

It is a voluntary organization of nature lovers from various departments of the college. The members of the club collect and circulate facts about nature and its resources to create awareness, motivate, educate and sensitize the attitude of the students towards environment conservation. Dr. Sujesh C.P, Associate Professor of Commerce Department is the coordinator of this club
Birds Club International is an organization initiated by the well-known Director Mr. Jayaraj, under the umbrella of Jayaraj Foundation. The club that aims at promoting interest in birds, conservation of nature and the environment through students campaigning and education. Birds are beautiful, inspirational, appeals to all geographies and also serve as excellent flagships and vital environmental indicators of the climate and weather conditions of a place. By focusing on birds, and the sites and habitats on which they depend, the Birds Club aims to improve the quality of life for birds; the club is coordinated by the Dr. Deepa K P Associate Professor, Department of chemistry.

The National Service Scheme aims at education through Community Service. It intends to create a social awareness in the student community by preparing them to be socially committed. Membership in the NSS is voluntary. A unit has a strength of 100 Students. Volunteers who complete 240 hours of work in two years and attend one special camp of 7 days during the above period are eligible for a certificate issued by the university. Two NSS Units (Unit No. 185 & 186) are functioning in the college. Dr. Shaji Maramveettil & Dr. Merlin Abraham are the programme officers.
It is expected that all able bodied students of the College shall offer themselves for NCC Training.
Aims.- (1) to develop character, comradeship the ideal of service and the capacity for leadership in young men and women. (2) to provide service training in young men and Women so as to stimulate interest in the defence of the country. (3) to build up reserve potential officer to enable the armed force to expand rapidly in a national emergency.
Training The period of N. C. C. training is for three years. 5 marks for admission to Post Graduate course shall be awarded as bonus marks to the students who possess an NCC Certificate issued by Director of NCC.
Candidates holding A,B,C Certificate are eligible for an additional weightage of 3,5,10 marks respectively for admission to Post Graduate course. Sri. Manu P is the NCC officer of the college
An active Parent Teacher Association functions in the college with the Principal as the President, a Parent as the Vice President and a the Teacher as Secretary. Parents of all the students admitted to the college and all the members of the staff are members of this association. The Association aims to provide amenities in the Campus and to institute prizes and medals for the benefit of outstanding students by collecting subscriptions and donations from members and non-members. Administration of the Association is done by the Executive Committee formed from time to time as per the bye-laws of the Association. The secretary to the PTA is Sri. Every academic year the students of the college elect a College Union. A Chairman, Vice Chairman, General Secretary, Joint Secretary, Student Editor, University Union Councillor, General Captain, Fine Arts Secretary, Class Representatives and Secretaries of various subject Associations are elected from among the students. The elections and activities of the College Union are governed by the rules and regulations of the University. The Principal is the ex- officio President of the College Union. Health Club functions to create a sense of well being among teachers and students .It aims to inculcate a sense of responsibility to maintain mental, emotional and physical fitness. Mr. Amal Raj P, Dept.Of Physical Education is the coordinator of this club.
