Yoga is a way of life that enables us to have a multi-dimensional approach to life. It relieves one from strain, tension and circumstantial frustration and thus keeps body and mind healthy, calm and peaceful. It is very effective for the overall development of a person. In the present-day circumstances, keeping good health is becoming more and more difficult and diseases are proliferating.

There is a separate hall in the institution for the purpose of daily yoga practice, available to all members of the staff and students.

Practice of Suryanamaskar, Yogasana, Pranayama and Meditation are found to be very beneficial to the staff and students, boosting working capacity and increasing concentration.

International Yoga Day

International Yoga Day is celebrated in the college every year without fail. Performance of Suryanamaskar, pranayama and meditation marks the occasion. NSS and NCC units of the college arrange yoga celebrations on that day. Eminent Yogacharyas are invited to take class for the staff and students. Yoga is found to be very effective for life-style diseases and brings discipline to their activities.
